GREAT BIKE & GREAT PRICE! - Nov 13, 2013

5 out of 5 stars
Glendale, AZ

Man, this is a lot of bike for $1199! Maybe the color is too much like a Harley, but who cares? Wear some disgustingly flashy spandex and clash like there is no tomorrow. The curves of the frame remind me of my early Klunkers, and seem to help the carbon frame absorb bumps instead of jarring things loose. Modern 29r geometry feels great, too. Remember rubbing your toes against the front tire while trying a tight switchback? Not with this set-up. Well packed, and the bike weighs all of 25 or so pounds, so no problems getting ready to assemble. The only trouble I came across was something I have seen on forums and reviews for this bike. Namely, the rear brake is not bled correctly by the factory. The wheel will barely spin at all. I'm betting this is due to the brake line routing, since the caliper is above the brake line, once it passes under the bottom bracket. Easy fix- just crack the T-10 bleed screw loose at the caliper and drain off a drop or two of fluid. Instant brake happiness.
