PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

3T Accelero 40 PRO 700c Wheelset

Accelero 40 Pro is the first all-purpose wheel to offer a real aero benefit. Where most 'aero' wheels in this category have 30 mm deep rims, 3T goes all the way. Accelero's aero-profile rim, 37mm deep and 23mm wide, is shaped by the same advanced aerodynamic R&D as their carbon-fiber Accelero and Mercurio wheels, for exceptionally low drag and stability in all conditions. 18 front and 24 rear spokes. Finish black anodized, with milled braking track.

This is a great way to enter the world of aero wheels. They are a little on the heavy side compared to some of the competition but they move well. They are much cheaper then anything you would find at this weight with this rim height. I noticed they held speed well and moved well on flats and rolling terrain but on climbs i noticed a little lag. Once up to speed i noticed they were smooth and begged you to go faster! I would not use these on a Gran Fondo but definitely for those 20-30 miles days in the saddle without a lot heavy duty climbing.
