Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support

The Bionic Neck Support (BNS) is designed to help prevent injury in a crash situation by dissipating and diverting impact forces away from the neck and spine. It helps protect against neck injury when the rider’s helmet makes contact with the BNS frame at the moment of impact, thus providing a clean, solid surface which instantly channels damaging, compression type impact energy away from the neck and on to the BNS. Primarily for use in motocross and DH mountain bike riding this protection device offers a highly personalized and stable fit while incorporating innovative new features such as a new quick release locking system. Thanks to its advanced material construction the Bionic Neck Support is lightweight and strong.

  • Advanced, high-performance fiberglass polymer compound
  • Lightweight performance and comfort
  • Resilience to low temperatures, below 0°C

I'm 5'11" 155lbs and a SMALL was TOO LARGE - May 22, 2014

I'm 5'11" 155lbs and the SMALL size was way too big (from chest to back). Be sure it fits before you order it! I ordered a Leatt LARGE and it fits perfectly. There is only one adjustment for the Alpinestars Bionic Neck, and it is shoulder pads (which was nowhere near sufficient for me).

The sizing is off, i wear a size smaller. There is little adjustment and my brace could fit better. I use the Astrap kit, I use this for Moto and DH. My dh helmet is a remedy and my moto is and agv in all my crashes the product had held up well and performed as intended.
