I've been using these for a year now and they have taken a beating over 1400 miles of trails and flat riding, scraping them on rocks, roots, dirt, concrete - you name it, on my 2011 26" Epic Comp. I've replaced a few pins a couple times from the ample allotment of spares that come with them in the box. At about 16 ounces, these are about as light as you'll get with pedals that have large foot coverage, for great support & fantastic grip. They're worth the extra money over cheaper pedals that won't last. These will.
