Answer Rove G2 Stem
The Answer Rove G2 stem has a 4 bolt face plate with scaffolds and is 2D forged then CNC'd to keep things as light as possible. It has opposed steertube pinch bolts and comes with two Answer 5mm headset spacers to dial in your cockpit for a perfect fit.
Love the look of the white 80mm stem with the black Answer bar. I couldn't be happier with this stem.
Really nice stem especially for the price. Aesthetics are great with nice angles, matching top cap, and unusual faceplate.
I added this stem along with the matching bar to my Specialized Camber, and am very pleased. Assembly was easy once I had the spacers set right. Absolutely no slipping or creaking, simply bombproof.
Got this stem for my trail bike and really like it. It looks great and its great that its offered in lengths as short as 60mm. It even comes with a 3&5mm spacers which isn't too shabby.
I've been running this stem for a couple months now in 70mm. I went longer bars (760) so I shortened up the stem. I have no complaints. It seems strong and stout and looks good too. I paired it with the Answer Pro Taper low rise carbon bar which makes for a sweet cockpit.
I really like this stem! I have the 80mm with a high riser EA70 Monkey bar setup. The stem is very cool looking with the X section on the front that just gives it a nice high quality futuristic look. So far it has held up over the last few weeks. The rise works very well for me as I wanted a more comfortable angle for riding. No complaints and a great look.
I went from a 100mm down to this one which is 60mm. I was afraid that it would make the bike twitchy, but quite the opposite is true. It helps me put more weight over the front wheel, I find it easier to shift my weight back and forth over the bike and I feel a more direct response from the front when making a tight switchback. My only disappointment is that I did not make the switch before. The next upgrade for the cockpit will be a wider bar and ergo grips. For reference purposes, I am riding an all mountain type 650b.
