With features that matter, the Elixir 3 brings Avid's most important technologies to the people, including the convenience of tooled reach-adjust and their revolutionary TaperBore Technology. Not all pockets are deep, which is why they don't consider things like comfort, control and reliability "features" - to them, these are rights of every Avid owner. These brakes come without rotors, are pre bled and come in plain packaging.
- Deep Stroke Modulation allows riders to perfectly navigate that line and control even the most powerful brakes with finesse
- DOT 5.1 takes almost 3 times longer to boil than DOT 4, thus allowing flawless fade-free performance in even more extreme conditions
- When one finger has the power to control your ride, adjusting the levers to perfectly match your unique hands is seriously important
- With Avid's top-loading pads, new disc-brake pads can be installed without taking off the wheel
- With Avid’s Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System, aligning the caliper to the rotor literally takes seconds
