Azonic Outlaw 26 Inch Wheelset
The legendary Azonic Outlaw wheelset is back with some fresh colors and a few tweaks. With the included adapter kit the front hub can easily be changed from a standard quick release to a 20mm thru axle. (A 15mm kit is available separately.) The spoke count has been lowered to 32 to save a bit of weight and the rims have been redesigned to make sure the strength stays up where it's supposed to. The Outlaw is disc brake only requiring 6 bolt rotors and the sealed cartridge bearings will keep you rolling smoothly over the toughest terrain.
Oversize/overweight charge applies to this item.
Great wheels for DH. Perfect fit with my bike axles. Pratical second set of front axle for quick changes.
I ordered a set of these last year to put on my more free ride oriented bike. It actually sees more trail than true free ride so the wheel weight is noticeable but for the strength the weight is good. The bearings spin well, I would like a more pronounced hub sound (it's on the quiet side). I was on the fence between the green and the black, after a week or so I decided to get the green. I was very happy with my choice when I opened the box. The anodized green is amazing and has held up well for a season. I use them all winter and they've stood up well to one of the worst winters I can remember in Michigan. In the year I've had the outlaws I've only had to snug up a few spokes in the rear to take a slight wobble out after a trip to a free ride park. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a strong reliable wheelset that looks great. All the hub options included are a nice touch. I've been running them 20mm from and 135x12 rear with the azonic bolt on 135x12 to 10mm axle.
So I had to true these when I first got them and they weren't perfectly centered but whatever they are cheap. I've had them for like 3 years now and they are still going strong. They don't bend or deny easy at all and the bearings an hubs are still good. I also have a set of mavic crossmax sx and they are a pain in the ass. Always have to adjust the hub preload. Outlaws you install and ride and forget.
Awesome wheel set! I'm using these on my enduro pro and have yet to have any complaints. 6 months in - tearing up the rock gardens and they're as true as the day I mounted them. Highly recommend the wheelset.
These are very nice and durable wheels.
These rims are as strong as they are beautiful. The rear hub sound is reassuring ,with excellent engagement. Weight is lowered with the revised 32 spoke count. I ordered my set in anodized red. I was blown away by how pretty they where. I installed them with 20mm in the front and the optional 12mm to 10mm step-down Azonic momentum axle in the rear. Totally stiffened and transformed the rear-end. These rims are all around performers and Install flawlessly out of the box. For the money they can't be beat! Get a set and shred, you won't regret it :)
No complaints yet. I've been on them for more than 10 rides so far in Breckenridge, CO and the trails of Philly's Wissahickon Park, some of which have been punishing and they've held up. Still true. I was breaking spokes left and right on my last set so it's great that they shouldn't need much attention. Probably a bit heavy, but that wasn't much of a factor for me.
Outlaws wheels are bullet proof and a great bargain. I have ridden everything from all day xc rides to bikepark to urban trials on these wheels with no issues. They are a bit heavy for xc rides but its nice to have reliable wheels. I trued them once after the first month of riding as they broke in, no other issues.
