Showing Questions 1-4 of 4

Q: How wide are the rims?

A: The internal width of the rim is 20mm.

Q: I need the 135mm rear, does the front have a standard qr with 100mm? I have a 2008 fox f100 rl fork, just want to double check that if I order online the 135 option is for the rear only and that I'll get a 100 qr front. Thanks , Darryl

A: The 135mm version of this wheelset comes ready to install on a standard 100 QR forks & 135 rear QR frames; hub spacers and skewers are also included.

Q: Do these have an adaptor for a 142mm rear hub?

A: 142 adapters/conversion kit for the rear is not included although this is an item that we carry which can be found by entering "295 AZOCK1" in the search box and it should come up as "Azonic Outlaw Conversion Kit"

Q: Will these wheels fit a 2014 specialized status 2?

A: Yes, you would need the azonic conversion kit for the rear (295 AZOCK1) which would change your rear wheel into a 135x12mm TA.

The rear hub is't good, heavy but you get what you pay for. If you dont enough for a better set these will do ok.

I purchased these for a build 6 years ago now, and they are still as true and evenly tensioned as the day I bought them. The only complaint is that they are a little heavy compared to modern rims. But for a good AM/FR wheelset they are hard to beat.

Strong and cheap! - Apr 23, 2014

I purchased a second hand DH bike that came with these installed. At first I was leery of them knowing they were a “cheap” and heavy set of wheels…but man, I couldn’t have been more wrong. They are on the heavier end of the spectrum but the added weight is worth their bullet proof nature! I haven’t had a single issue out of these wheels, not a single dent, ding, broken spoke…nothing. I have only had to true them a handful of times since running them for 2 seasons.

Strong good looking wheelset - Apr 09, 2014

I ordered a set of these last year to put on my more free ride oriented bike. It actually sees more trail than true free ride so the wheel weight is noticeable but for the strength the weight is good. The bearings spin well, I would like a more pronounced hub sound (it's on the quiet side). I was on the fence between the green and the black, after a week or so I decided to get the green. I was very happy with my choice when I opened the box. The anodized green is amazing and has held up well for a season. I use them all winter and they've stood up well to one of the worst winters I can remember in Michigan. In the year I've had the outlaws I've only had to snug up a few spokes in the rear to take a slight wobble out after a trip to a free ride park. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a strong reliable wheelset that looks great. All the hub options included are a nice touch. I've been running them 20mm from and 135x12 rear with the azonic bolt on 135x12 to 10mm axle.

Install as forget. - Sep 26, 2013

So I had to true these when I first got them and they weren't perfectly centered but whatever they are cheap. I've had them for like 3 years now and they are still going strong. They don't bend or deny easy at all and the bearings an hubs are still good. I also have a set of mavic crossmax sx and they are a pain in the ass. Always have to adjust the hub preload. Outlaws you install and ride and forget.

Awesome wheel set! I'm using these on my enduro pro and have yet to have any complaints. 6 months in - tearing up the rock gardens and they're as true as the day I mounted them. Highly recommend the wheelset.

Bombproof Beauties - Jul 15, 2013

These rims are as strong as they are beautiful. The rear hub sound is reassuring ,with excellent engagement. Weight is lowered with the revised 32 spoke count. I ordered my set in anodized red. I was blown away by how pretty they where. I installed them with 20mm in the front and the optional 12mm to 10mm step-down Azonic momentum axle in the rear. Totally stiffened and transformed the rear-end. These rims are all around performers and Install flawlessly out of the box. For the money they can't be beat! Get a set and shred, you won't regret it :)

Good strength to price ratio - May 15, 2013

No complaints yet. I've been on them for more than 10 rides so far in Breckenridge, CO and the trails of Philly's Wissahickon Park, some of which have been punishing and they've held up. Still true. I was breaking spokes left and right on my last set so it's great that they shouldn't need much attention. Probably a bit heavy, but that wasn't much of a factor for me.

Great Wheelset - May 07, 2013

Outlaws wheels are bullet proof and a great bargain. I have ridden everything from all day xc rides to bikepark to urban trials on these wheels with no issues. They are a bit heavy for xc rides but its nice to have reliable wheels. I trued them once after the first month of riding as they broke in, no other issues.
