Q: Would you please let me know more precisely which TALAS that is, what the head angle is, and what the drop on the LEV is? thank you so much. Ian

A: The stock fork on this bike is the Fox 32 Talas CTD 150mm QR15. The head angle is an aggressive 66.5 degrees and the LEV had 125mm of travel.

BH Lynx 6 - Bought & Rode - Jun 10, 2014

6'0 Tall, 240lbs & ride single to light DH. Bike works quite well for my style. Climbs well and goes down hill even better. I swapped the frt rings, stem, bars and grips and all is right with the world now. Suspension is low end Fox, but get's it done for a Weekend warrior. I had a LBS put it together, but others have committed it's a straight forward build. If stolen I would buy again, too hard to beat the price.

Great bike!! BH has its history in the road bike category, didn't know they made MTB until I got found it here. Prologo Nago EVO 10X saddle. Clutch on the rear derailleur. The KS seatpost works great. The bar is pretty narrow, will have to change it. Great suspension design from Dave Weagle. Made for aggressive riding. Great price for an outstanding bike!! won't regret!!

I bought this bike having never heard of BH. I could not be more satisfied! I ride with a Trek and 2 specialized riders. My new BH performs as well as all at half the cost! Do yourself a favor. If your looking for a new bike, buy this one and you will not be disapointed! I promise!

So you've never heard of BH? Neither had I. I thought this was some knockoff brand. Boy was I wrong. Getting back into mtn biking I wanted something capable on the trail, but not capable of emptying the bank account from the start. After reading many reviews and speaking with others that had purchased the Lynx, one thing was clear. Everyone loved it and had only positive things to say. Out of the box it only took 30-45 minutes to unwrap and put everything together. Probably would have been closer to 15-20, but I had a beer in my hand. The component set is awesome. The KS dropper post works fantastic. Shifting was smooth and precise out of the box. Suspension works great and the DW link makes the bike climb like a goat and keeps the rear wheel on the ground during braking. The brakes are very capable and have great modulation. The stealth cable routing looks great and keeps the frame looking clean. After testing on a rocking 15 miles ride this past weekend I can say without a doubt the XT derailleur's shadow feature works awesome and keeps the chain from making a racket while riding through rock gardens. If I had a regret, it's only that I sat on the fence so long. You likely won't find a bike this capable with a component set this nice within $500 of the price. Very satisfied with this purchase and with Price points customer service.

Impressive bike, do not let this one pass! - Apr 21, 2014

I bought this bike for All-Mountain / Enduro riding. What impressed me the most is the component specs. The Fox Float CTD fork and shock work flawlessly, soaking up big roots like nothing and firming up when the trail get steep. Adjustment is a breeze thanks to the air spring, just set your sag (which takes just a couple minutes) and your rebound and you're good to go. Compression adjustment is predialed with the CTD knob and you can select the setting with the included lever. Take note that it only adjusts the shock settings, not the fork. Although the lever comes with the cable mount in case you wish to modify the fork to have the remote CTD knob. Formula brakes are outstanding, just make sure you give them the proper brake-in. Handlebar is on the narrow side, so I replaced that with a RaceFace Atlas FR 725mm and now the cockpit feels perfect. Derraileurs works perfectly with smooth and precise gear changes, I also like the clutch on the rear derrailerur which reduces chain "slap". The bike also comes with tubeless nipples in case you decide to ride tubeless, just get some rim tape and sealant. The seatdropper is a very nice touch, lever is small enough not to interfere and works very smoothly. And it also includes a SWEET Prologo Nago Evo X10 saddle! Overall I think the BH Lynx 6 is a great bike, climbs like a goat and when pushed you can ride the DH sections with full confidence. I have recommended this bike to a couple of riders, and after getting a test ride, all have ordered one. So if you're in fence for an AM/Enduro bike, give this bike some serious consideration, I cross shopped with Santa Cruz, Trek and Giant bikes, and this one comes at the top. And for the price is a steal!
