BH Zenith SLX 29er Bike 2013

For over a century BH Bikes has been synonymous with cycling and sportsmanship in Europe. BH was able to achieve this by staying true to the values they were founded on; innovation, research and technological development, social and environmental responsibility, commitment to quality, reliability, trustworthiness and above all, their passion for bicycles.

The Zenith SLX's Rock Shox XC 32 fork, SLX 10 speed drive train and high end aluminum frame all seem to be a step above its modest asking price. The welds at the head tube have been smoothed out and the paint job looks fast standing still. While tapered head tubes are fairly common these days, they don’t always come on bikes in this price range. With a frame featuring a tapered head tube, press-fit bottom bracket and direct mount front derailleur, BH appears to have most of the modern ‘standards’ covered. This makes the Zenith SLX an incredible value in the XC hardtail category. Don't wait, get yours today!

bought it for 799$, great bike but the seatpost is horrible. a one bolt seat post with tiny clamp that always move no mather how you torque it. i change the seat post for a fsa carbon with two bolts and never got a problem. the saddle is confortable too. the stem is too long, i change it for a 90mm truvativ t30 stem, the original was 110mm long. i swap the BH flat bar for a 700mm bontrager carbon handlebar. i'm 6'2'' and the XL fit me wells. i never taugh a XL 29er frame could be so agile and nimble. it climb like a goat and the slx clutch derailler is perfect. i didn't expect much from the brake but if you place the brake lever far from the grip it make the brake work really wells. you have to place your finger at the end of the brake lever and it will be excellent. excellent value

Awesome bike for the $$$ - May 18, 2014

What a great bike! I just wanted a bike to kick around on with the wife but now I'm riding it all the time. My main bike is a Niner RIP. I purchased the large I'm 5'11" the fit is perfect, geometry seems to be a tad smaller than the Niner. The only complaint is the brakes are weak and not much feed back but you adapt quickly. Overall I'm super happy with it just swap the seat, grips, put your pedals on, switch to Stan's tubless and convert it to 1x10. Blackspire makes a mono veloce wide profile chainring that works great. 104mm x 34t Just bolt it on the existing crank and take a couple links out of the chain. That's it.

Proof that email marketing works! Got an email that highlighted this bike, checked out the components, seemed like a good price for how it is outfitted. Have only ridden a little (too cold) but so far bike feels light and comfortable. Happy thus far with my purchase.

Great service, great product - Apr 30, 2014

Great bike, really pleased with the quality of the frame and components. I'm 5'10" with a 31" inseam and opted for the large for a little more length on the top tube, think I would have been better off with a medium. When standing over the bike, my crotch is right on the top tube with just a little bit of wiggle room. It works, but I think a medium would have been better. I haven't had a chance to take it on the trail yet, but have cruised around the neighbor and it feels great. I did a fair amount of research before purchasing the bike and felt that this was one of best deals available at this time. Here is a great review of the bike that influenced my decision: http://bicyclingaustralia.com.au/2013/06/trail-test-bh-zenith-29er On top of the great value, Price Points shipping was top notch. I ordered on Sunday night and the bike was sitting on my door step Thursday after work. Super happy with my purchase. Awesome product and service from Price Point!

This is really a great bike. This was recommended to me by a friend for the top notch components. I have been very impressed with so far. Clearly beats my $1200 street bike when it comes to components and just overall quality feel. As the other reviewer said, the bike really does climb like crazy. That was probably the biggest difference from my prior bike -- it seems like it can climb anything. I really have nothing negative to say about the bike - so far everything has been great. Already recommended this bike to a friend.

Finally got this bike in and took it for the first ride. What a dream! This thing is light and climbs like crazy. Replaced my old Fisher 26" and what a difference. The right amount of stiffness, lightness and geometry. I absolutely love it. For the price, what a deal! The components are top notch and well above grade for comparable bikes in this space. You will be impressed.
