PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Blackburn Airstik Longneck Mini Pump

The Blackburn Airstik Longneck has a head connected by a telephone-cord-like air tube (for those of your that remember what hard wired phones look like) that allows you to put less strain on the valve and pump in a more comfortable position. Sort of like a very small floor pump without a place to put your foot.

  • Flexible hose attachment on head
  • Aluminum barrel and shaft
  • Includes frame mount
  • High pressure/high volume modes (max 160 psi)
  • Presta or Schraeder

This pump is the ish. Well designed, should be the picture in the dictionary next to the definition of a compact-pump. I've got no complaints, I just wish I'd gotten a 2nd as a back up in case this one ever gives out on me, which I don't expect to happen any time soon. It's pretty friggin' sweet. No doubt a great deal for the price.

I hate using hand pumps because it's so easy to bend the valve stem especially on Presta valves when inflating. This design completely avoids that problem with the flexible hose and head. I actually look forward to getting flats now. :-) Note that the newer model now has a lever that allows the pump to be used like a floor pump. Pretty cool new feature that isn't on this version.
