Showing Questions 1-3 of 3

Q: I have a Blackburn TRX-1 Ultimate Touring Rack. Is this Trunk Bag will work for it? I have read that some trunks bags don't work with the TRX-1 because is to norrow at the top.

A: Unfortunately this bag has a wider capacity than the rack and would hang from the sides because of the sizing.

Q: How does this attach to the rack? Are you supposed to use bungee cords?

A: It has built in Velcro straps.

Q: what is the size of the Blackburn EX Trunk Bag in inches? thank you!

A: 12 x 8 x 6 inches

Plenty of room for junk in my trunk! - Jul 14, 2014

Blackburn EX Trunk Bag is quite roomy, (12 x 8 x 6 inches ; 1.8 pounds) and well made. The main compartment is quite generous, with a velcro-able divider which can be changed as needed. There is a smaller pocket at each short end, large enough to hold my medium sized digital camera and the other small pocket is already stuffed with a neon green rain cover. Each long side (as you can see in the photo) has one long pocket, large enough to stuff some maps or travelling snacks inside. Also, the upper lid has a second zipper that can unzip to expand the main compartment storage space, for those times when you need to super-size your sub sandwich! Case includes a hardy, detatchable shoulder strap, and the handles seen on top are permanently sewn in. Double zippers move easily. There are 2 wide velcro straps on the bottom of the case that are plenty wide enough to hold it securely to my Surly Nice rack -- a touring rack that tends to be somewhat wider than many. But for my purposes, this is just right! I seriously doubt this trunk bag is any more "raccoon proof" than my last generic brand bag, but I'm really pleased with its sturdy construction and ample storage space, and I expect to travel many happy miles with it!

Its an ok bag, too soft. I received it with no reflective piping on the side, just logo, so picture they have is incorrect.
