Durable, but may not play nice with Shimano - Jun 09, 2014

Durable, but may not play nice with Shimano. Last a long time, but does not shift as smooth as Shimano rings did on my current set up. Your results may differ.

Durable and cool, but a little rough. - Apr 23, 2014

Great wearing and looking as you peak through the bash. But it's kind of harsh to shift do to that tough metal. Usually when I look at my big ring (36 on a double), it loses a couple of teeth on harsh clumbsy shifts... Instead this thing bites back and sounds like its going to eat my chain. It shifts, and the teeth don't break, but it isn't super smooth like its whimpier Shimano and Raceface competition. It's a good choice for durability. But if you can afford to throw money out the window like empty shotgunned PBR cans, then buy a Shimano or Truvativ as they are made from the same type of aluminum, though smoother with a lot less bite.

Terrible - Feb 09, 2014

These rings are terrible. Shifting from granny to middle ring sounds like a chainsaw and misses every shift. Dropping down is nothing but chain suck and dropped chains constantly. I have re-rigged both my derailleurs, bought a new chain and spent countless hours trying to make these rings work right but to no avail. I do not recommend buying these.

No chain dropping, no premature wear - Nov 01, 2013

Do yourself a favor and stop using the Shimano or Raceface rings and upgrade to BS. No more chain drops and these things last a long time.
