The Thunder One 29r frame uses Breezer D'Fusion tubing, their Apex Disc Mount and Breeze-In dropouts. Its 29er geometry is identical to the Cloud 9 but in durable, lightweight aluminum. The Thunder uses a custom Breeze tapered head tube for additional stiffness and weight savings, and is the first ever Breezer single-speed. With its derailleur hanger and eccentric bottom bracket it easily accommodates both geared and singlespeed setup. If you have ever tried to set up a singlespeed with disc brakes and horizontal dropouts you'll appreciate how much easier the eccentric bottom bracket is to deal with. It makes fixing a flat or changing tires... a Breeze.
Q: Do you have geometry for this frame? I'm looking for an XL. Also I plan on using this as a singlespeed. I already have a good rigid fork. Do you sell and adapter to use a non-tapered fork with a tapered head tube that this frame has? Thanks. Mike
A: The geometry for the 2014 Thunder One is the same as the 2013 model, which can be found here:
We also have the proper lower headset you will need to use in order to accommodate a non-tapered fork. As this frame uses an integrated-style headset, you need to choose an “IS52” lower that works with a 1 1/8” steer tube (i.e. item 205 CACIB1).
