Breezer Supercell Pro 29 inch Bike 2014

What happens when the godfather of mountain biking teams up with the world's leading mechanical engineers? The Supercell emerges. Joe Breeze has created a groundbreaking new trail bike. 29 inch wheels and 120mm of suspension travel lead to a rig that redefines big wheel handling and full-suspension efficiency. The secret to the success of the Supercell frame is Breezer's MLink (Mid Link) technology. The Supercell comes with a critical pivot in the middle of the chainstay, balancing out opposing forces for a smooth and efficient system with less flex, less binding, and less bearing and pivot stress. Unmatched efficiency gives you better climbing power, greater speed, and increased control.

I've been in the market for a bike for a long time. In this pricepoint i was finding only aluminum hrdtsils that were specced similarly. I bought this bike, and immediately fell in love with it. The bike corners better than many 26ers i rode, the fox fork and shock are plush, yet the bike reduces the pedal bob down to almost nothing. The brakes work wonderfully, and the drivetrain is smooth and reliable. The shodow plus is nice to have. The only downside to this bike is the weight, I ride an xl and the bike weighs in at 32 pounds. Overall the bike is amazing value for the money (especially on sale) and feels very solid. I would reccomend this to any all mountain rider.

Ordered one of these last week and it just showed up yesterday. I was a little on the fence about buying it since I do not have any local dealers to be able to ride or feel the fit of the bike. The deal was good enough for me to take the risk and I'm glad I did. I never write reviews but wanted to give some people on the fence my feedback. I am coming off my well loved 2005 Cannondale Prophet. I'm 6'2" and bought a large. It's about right, could be slightly larger but not much. The bike is about the same weight as my prophet but rides much lighter. I was very impressed with how easy it is to pedal. I rode a loop today that would normally have me dragging by the end on my prophet but I felt great at the end and went out and did some more. It also feels nearly as agile as any 26" bike I've ridden. A lot of people complain about this on the 29er's but it seems like they have really honed in on the best geometry in the last few years, if you compare geometry this bike is very close to the other leading brands with similar intentions. Suspension feels good, it's not overly soft and stays hooked to the ground. The brakes and tires are superb. The overall fit and finish is excellent. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this bike, especially for the price. If your on the fence I say buy it.
