Great bag for a great price. Holds all the water in the lumbard keeping the weight low and balanced with plenty of room up top for trail ecentials.
It is the most comfortable I've used camelback, good load capacity, good load capacity in liquid, ventilation of the back is great, very glad I bought this product.
only PricePoint had published a picture of the reservoir Before buying, you should google this product to see what a lumbar reservoir look like. None of the picture form price point give an idea how much different the bladder of this product is from previous/normal version that most of us are used to. Once my surprise dissipated, I thought that the idea of lowering the center of gravity was great. However the way CamelBak designed it is far from excellence. You absolutely need to take the bladder out to fill it (no more 15s quick fill). Putting it back in is not easy task either. The shape of the reservoir makes it difficult, if not impossible, to completely dry the reservoir.. On top of it the fill port of mine leak (bad luck I guess). When filled with water the fit of the pack feel uncomfortable. You feel a big bump created by the reservoir on your lower back then the pack is not touching your back for a while; this gap highly depend on how much stuff you throw in the rest of the pack.
It's got ample storage in the pack. 70 oz of water is usually enough water with a water bottle with cytomax or whatever your choice of energy drink is. My only beef is, those two side pockets that you think are going to come in handy are super annoying! You can usually get them open with one hand but you absolutely have to use two hands to close them. It sounds trivial but when your in a hurry or your trying to close them while on the move, it's just not going to happen. It's as good as any other pack. It's not a life changing pack by any means, but it does have some nice features.
I am user for several years of CamelBak products, all of they are very good, but this model to me is maximal with enough internal space you can use with two bags ( the original and other vertical) is ideal for two type of liquids. The lateral bags is easy to access. Initially I had several doubts about water bags capacity but is the same as others vertical bags. To me is the bets Camelbak and the relations price benefices is insuperable.
