This headset seems really nice so far. Put it on my Trek Wahoo and upgraded the fork which has a tapered 1 1/8-1 1/2 steerer tube. This lower cup allowed me to add a tapered fork on my non-tapered 44mm headtube. Definetly would reccomend.

Really lovely, smooth headset. I actually used mine as a straight 1 1/8th to tapered conversion, and it worked out flawlessly. Had to grab my sander, but otherwise- i have had this headset for almost. 8 months or so now- and its been awesome. Sealed bearing, like power steering for your bike. Great product!
