PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Colnago Ace 105 Road Bike 2013

The Colnago Ace has been specially designed to provide a comfortable ride for Gran Fondo riders or for those cyclists who are just starting to take their riding more seriously.

The Ace provides a more upright and comfortable position than Colnago's standard geometries. The frame is manufactured from High Modulus carbon fiber and features round main tubes, square chainstays, straight forks and a stylish design that's not in your face, but a head turner.

The Ace comes packed with great quality cycle brands like Shimano and Deda (handlebars, seat post and stem) and features Shimano's 105 groupset, which provides great reliability and shifting and won't let you down. This machine comes fitted with a compact chainset (not 105), which when coupled with the large 11-28 cassette, means you'll have an abundance of gearing choices for all on-road cycling terrains from the steepest of climbs to the flat roads where you can power along.

The Colnago Ace 105 is a lovely machine that features some outstanding components and designed for the endurance rider. It's light, looks great and performs extremely well.

Comfortable and stable - Sep 18, 2014

Very comfortable and stable bike. It is not very light, but for the price this should be expected. The component level is adequate for how often I ride. I just completed a century with the bike and it handled quite well. The wheels are heavy but strong. The bike I think is very good looking. The fit for me was great (54sl for 6'1" me). Overall, will keep up with most bikes, but will be comfortable enough for long rides. For the current price you can't go wrong.

A great touring bike - May 16, 2014

As soon as this bike came through my door I suited up for a ~50mil road trip. The compact chainset does wonder for the hillier portions for the hillier portions of the ride. There are many gears to be choosing from and the flexibility of those gears pays off in the long haul. I did find that it was a little tougher to keep the momentum going on the flatter sections, if I couldn't find a comfortable gear.
