PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Continental Baron Wire Bead Tire 26x2.3

The Baron is for riders who love challenging their tires going downhill, but don't always want to rely on a shuttle bus or a lift. The Baron deals with rough landings without complaining, but rolls easily enough to make it to the top on its own.

  • Dual ply casing with Apex keeps the sidewalls supported under aggressive cornering and effectively prevents punctures
  • Open symmetrical pattern performs well in a variety of conditions
  • Wire bead
  • 26x2.3

Due to oversize/overweight restrictions we can only ship this item within the U.S. and Canada.

Please note: Oversize/overweight charge applies to this item.

If you want to get the most out of these Continental tires I strongly suggest using tubes!

This tire climbs amazingly, aND if you are ready to peddle on the descent this tire will give you more grip than any other tire I have tried. I wish I could get this tire in a 2.5 width for my DH bike.

The best bike tire for thrill seekers! - Apr 11, 2015

I bought a pair of these tires for my all mountain bike six months ago. They have proven to be one of the best tires I have ever put on a bike. I have no problem climbing long steep terrain and riding down, and pushing the bike for speed has been nothing but an adrenaline overload. If you are ready to to peddle on the descent, these tires will not dispappoint. I wish they made this tread for DH tires.

Bought a few of these tires due to the knobby tread that roll great. I received one defective tire, wires popped out causing side wall to pop out. Hopefully I can get it exchanged.
