Continental Gator Hardshell Folding Tire
The Gator Hardshell is Continental’s latest weapon in the war against flat tires. The Hardshell designation comes from a triple header of anti-cut Duraskin that runs from bead-to-bead, an extra wide poly-x puncture resistant layer and a 3 ply casing. On top of that, the business end of the tire has been bumped up with extra rubber for added durability. Even with all this reinforcement the Gator Hardshell rolls fast and smooth.
- DuraSkin technology helps the tire roll with the punches by adding protection against the worst conditions
- Proprietary PolyX Breaker fiber is woven into the crosswires to increase the resistance against punctures without compromsing rolling resistance
