Crank Brothers' Kronolog telescoping seatpost steps away from the hydraulic internals that were used within the infamous Joplin design, utilizing a full mechanical layout that greatly resembles the locking plate system found on bar clamps. The design makes the Kronolog the only mechanical post that is infinitely adjustable, allowing users to select any seat height between its fully dropped and fully raised positions.
- Infinitely adjustable mechanical design with the smooth and quiet action of hydraulics
- Air spring technology allows preload and rebound adjustability via a shock pump
- Air damping allows the saddle return to a normal riding position in two stages: quick initial return and slow for the last inch
- Cable routes to the post's stationary body and stays put when the post moves up and down; no excess cable when post is short
- Single-bolt rail clamp is infinitely adjustable and has 0mm offset
