Diamondback Century 5 Di2 Road Bike Carbon 2014

The Century 5 tops out the Century line with a full Shimano Ultegra 11 speed Di2 kit, which brings its pro-tested technologies to a wider audience. An Ultegra Clincher Wheelset also adorns this beauty providing an extremely lightweight and fast rolling wheel option. This frame features internal cable routing, carbon drop outs, a tapered headtube, and of course, all Century Carbon frames are Di2 compatible.

Not every bike ride needs to be a race. Concurrently, not every road bike needs to be a a race bike. For many, a short leisurely ride or a long distance comfortable spin is preferable. For these riders, a comfortable geometry is key. For these riders, there is the Diamondback Century Road line.

Diamondback's Century road line is all about efficiency and endurance. The Century retains all the handling, geometry, and ride characteristics of our carbon Competition platform, with a slightly higher head tube height to put less strain on a rider's back and neck. This improves the fit for riders with marginally less pelvic rotation and core stability.

  • DB Road Advanced Tube to Tube (ATT) Carbon Endurance Road Frame with internal cable routing, Carbon Drop outs, tapered headtube, Di2 Compatible
  • Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic drivetrain for smooth and exact shifting every time
  • Shimano Ultegra Clincher Wheelset for lightweight, fast rolling action
  • Shimano Ultegra Brakes for ideal stopping power

great deal - Jul 26, 2015

Ordered on Thursday, arrived on Friday. Put it together Friday night and gave it a 45 mile shakedown ride Saturday morning. Ultegra quality was first rate. Rode flats, climbs, and descents and no issues. If you are on the fence, don't worry, this bike can perform. I'm 5'8" and the 54 was spot on.

Fantastic Bike, Fantastic Price - Apr 13, 2015

Upgrading from a 2004 Specialized E5 Sworks. At first I was hesitant because Diamondback is not a big name (yet) in the road market, and there wasn't a lot of reviews online about the Century. But since it had all brand name components and an Ultegra Di2 gruppo, it seemed like a great deal. To get a similarly spec'd bike from Cannondale, Specialized or Trek would have cost well past $3500. With lightweight bottle cages and speedplay pedals, the bike is approximately 17.2 lbs using my bathroom scale. The wheels are fast and accelerate well. I am 5'8" and the 54cm fits great. The Di2 shifting is fantastic and one of my favorite features of the bike. Ride is smooth and handling great. I paid $2,200, and it was worth every penny.

Best bike for price - Apr 11, 2015

I was looking for a bike for a while. I had a podium 3 which was a good value for the price. I decided to buy this one as it has all ultegra di2 groupset, the price of that alone is worth more than the bike. It has all carbon construction and handles GREAT. I would highly recommend this bike and at this price you cannot lose. Best value in a bike I have seen.
