PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Easton EA70 XC 29er Front Wheel 2012

Sure, anyone can make a really expensive, super light wheel, but how many can deliver a super light, incredibly durable, sweet riding wheel for little more than the change tucked into the cushions of your couch? The all-new EA70 XC wheel is a full 150-grams lighter than the wheel it replaces (the XC2), yet features a wide 20mm inner rim width for amazing tire profile. The EA70 XC's rim also features an enhanced shape and a welded seam for maximum strength in rough going.

Oversize/overweight charge applies to this item.

Great for the price - Apr 23, 2014

Use as a general training wheel because they seem to really hold up. We have two sets used as training wheels and they see a lot of miles of XC riding. Yes they are a bit heavy but for training or general riding who cares. Set up as tubeless with Stan's and have had no issues.

I bought this wheel to replace the ones that came on my Sette Razzo SC X9 when the pawls blew out. I've put a years worth of hard riding on them and the wheel has never needed truing.

great value - Jan 09, 2014

upgraded my factory Alex wheels to these Eastons. Very smooth rolling and good performance for the money. The Easton recommendation on air pressure for these is 30psi minimum. I tried running below that, and the rear suffered and had a slight wobble. Was easy to true up, but I no longer run the rear below 30 psi. I don't ride terribly rough terrain, but I do not hold back on jumping roots, ramps, and berms on the trail. I weigh in at 160 lbs, this is just my experience with this product.

Very light and stiff, and a good value (esp. when combined with the rear wheel).
