Great Deal for Carbon! - Jun 06, 2014

This seatpost has tamed the rough roads that I sometimes ride during the week. This has made my road biking much more enjoyable due to taking the vibration that I would feel from my original aluminum seatpost. I cannot say anything bad about it.

Believe the hype! - Apr 27, 2014

I bought this carbon seatpost because at $60 how could you not!?!? I'm usually pretty skeptical when people say how carbon absorbs impact, how strong carbon is, how light it is, etc, etc. but honestly I was blown away! It really does absorb so much impact! now I want all carbon everything haha. I know some people have said that this post slips a bit after long rides, but I haven't had that issue yet. To be fair thought I've only put about 30 miles of single track riding on it. I took away one star because it does seem to scratch fairly easy...but if you ride a mountain bike and don't expect scratches, then you shouldn't be riding a mountain bike haha.

Great price for a carbon post from Easton. The 2 bolt design is kinda weird, and can put a lot of stress on the seat rails if not set up right. Takes a bit of fidgeting to it set up, but it's a seat post. Set it and forget it. Good buy.

This may not be the lightest seat post around but if you're looking for the carbon ride quality at an affordable price, this is it. Easton has always made good quality carbon. I'm using the 27.2 version and was afraid of it being too weak due to the small diameter but so far I haven't felt any flex and enjoy the dampening it provides when riding my hardtail over rocky sections.
