The EC70 Zero utilizes the same monocoque carbon construction as the EC90, but with an aluminum upper clamp. This low-profile, micro-adjusting clamp allows easy adjustment and optimal saddle clearance.
You ever notice that you sit on a "saddle" mounted to a "seatpost"? Shouldn't it be a called "saddlepost"? With a price like this on a carbon seatpost (or saddlepost), who cares what it's called. Anyway, with all the money you just saved you might want to snap up a new saddle. Take a look at our comprehensive selection of bike saddles here.
Looks good, smooth ride, and shaved off some weight. Only con is that it is a bit of a pain to adjust.
Nice light weight post. Smooth ride and looks good. Only con is that it is kind of a pain to adjust.
This is much lighter than the stock aluminum post that came on my bike. Yes they make lighter ones, but for the price of this one I am fine with the few extra grams.
Got one of these on sale a month ago, add some Ti bolts and top yokes, and it's the same wight as an EC90 for 1/4 the price. Has held up through a couple good crashes.
Less than 3 weeks old, broke in the AZT300 and I finished the last 35 miles without a saddle. Racing voids warranty but don't think I'd want a replacement anyway.
Nice and light don't forget some carbon assembly paste. Great value!
Ridden, rallied, raced, and re-ridden. Dependable well-designed kit. Buy.
So far I'm very happy with this. I bought some Finish Line Fiber Grip carbon assembly gel, used a torque wrench to properly tighten this, and adjusted the seat and was good to go. Substantially lighter than my stock aluminum post, and no issues in my first month using it. For the price I paid, I'm absolutely thrilled with it.
Fantastci easton carbon quality for 30 USD, what more could you want! Only 20 g heavier than much more expensive ec90.
Very nice, noticeably more comfortable on longer rides. Light , I'm sure there are lighter, but significantly lighter than the stock seat post that came on my high end specialized.
This seatpost is great for rocky terrain. I have it mounted in my Rockhopper and you can feel the difference that carbon makes. Great item at good value.
I picked one of these up for my XC race bike hoping to drop a few grams from my stock aluminum post and also help the ride a little. Both were accomplished. I am very happy with my purchase. Especially for the price!
