PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Easton Haven Stem 2012

Like the wheels, handlebars and seat posts that share its name, the Haven stem is an All Mountain game changer. Easton reached into the bag of tricks that they've spent 30 years building and pulled out a 153-gram (85mm), fully CNC machined alloy stem that features higher stiffness-to-weight than any mountain stem they've ever made.

Distributed Stress and Top Lock Technologies optimize bar/stem interface by removing stress risers and eliminating rocking caused by floating face plates. If you've got a Haven bar, there's no other stem that's going to get it done for you.

I have this stem on a couple of bikes and love them. They feel much lighter than my Thomson stems and look even better. The machined aluminum finish is beautiful, photos don't do it justice. Both of mine are 70mm and feel very stiff. The graphics are not as durable as they could be, but who cares? These stems are meant to take a beating and won't disappoint.

Just got this stem to replace an EA90 that I cracked. This stem is stronger but just as light. Got a great price on it since it was an older model. Don't know what about the new model is different but think this one is just fine.

Very Pretty - Apr 23, 2014

I got the magnesium finished option and it's a very nice part and matches my Haven Aluminum wheels perfectly. Most important is that the stem is stiff and much lighter than it looks like it should be. I've been running Easton products for years and never had one let me down yet - Highly recommended. Q

Machined finish is nicer then the Thomson stem it replaced. Durability is yet to be determined as I have only two rides on it so far, but the look and feel is great.

I recently purchased this stem as a replacement for my stock stem on my 2011 Cannondale MTB. This stem has to be hands down the best stem I've ever ridden with. It is lightweight with no flex or play. Oh did I mention it's SUPER SEXY too!!!!!!! LOL.....I would recommend this stem to anybody for any type of terrain. Thanks Easton & Price Point.
