Ergon's original and groundbreaking grips continue to set the standard for ergonomic design and comfort. This updated version of the GP1 features a new internal structure that provides more comfort through a three part support platform made of varying wall thickness. It also features a forged aluminum clamp for fast and secure installation. Adjustment of the support platform is achieved by simply loosening the clamp bolt and positioning the grip to the desired neutral position.
Please note: there is no difference in the length or "wing" size between the small and large sizes. The small and large label refers to how thick or thin the grip is. The small grip is best for riders with small hands, those wearing thick padded gloves, or for those who race/ride technical mountain bike terrain. The large grip is best for riders with large hands, or for commuting and/or city riding.
These grips force us to confront our bent-wrist, slouchy, numbness-causing form. And they're good at it too! I love these things. Any ergo grip that doesn't lock on is worthless. These guys are great.
