Ergon GP1-L Performance Comfort Grips

Ergon GP1-L Performance Comfort Grips offer maximum comfort and the best possible pressure distribution. They are specially cut for middle to larger sized hands. They feature a forged Al clamp for fast and secure installation. The support platform is individually incrementally adjustable for the correct hand angle by simply turning the grip.

Ergon GP grips prevent numb fingers, painful hands and forearms problems that many riders face. The cause of this is high pressure on the particularly sensitive areas of the palm and an incorrect hand position. Due to their anatomically optimal design, Ergon grips provide a contact surface of 100%. Regular grips only provide a contact surface of approximately 60%. With increased contact surface, pressure is especially reduced in the area of the ulna nerve, thus decreasing the likelihood of numbness. Furthermore, the anatomic form of the Ergon Performance and Race Series grips corrects your hand position. An incorrect hand position and overloading of the median nerve (a leading cause of carpal tunnel syndrome) are impossible as long as the grip is mounted correctly.

Really good grips! highly recommend these because have a larger impact surface area for your hands and your wrist never hurt.

Bought these grips for a new bike build. They are by far the simplest grips I've ever put on a bike. A simple tightening of the bolt will secure these things very well. Initially I struggled with the large palm area, but soon got used to it; however, after a couple days worth of more aggressive trail riding, I decided to slap them on my other bike that's setup for more cruising as I felt a standard round grip gave me more control over the bumps. Once I adjusted the brake levers and shifters down the bar a bit I had much more I may just have to get another pair or two as my wife likes them as well.
