Fizik Antares Versus Kium Rail Saddle
Using their three most popular saddles as the starting point, the most notable change in Fizik's new Versus line of saddles is the addition of a pressure relief channel running down the center of each saddle.
The goal behind the Versus collection was to offer a high performance saddle that's immediately comfortable to the casual enthusiast who has an appreciation for top level equipment. After a considerable amount of research, Fizik decided that the channel design offered more consistent comfort and increased durability when compared to saddles with a full cut out.
In addition to the pressure relief channel, Fizik bumps up the padding just a touch compared to the originals.
Otherwise, the Versus collection is loaded with all the same great features. For the Antares that means K:ium rails (8 percent lighter and just as strong as titanium) that are marked for easy adjustment throughout its spacious 85mm range. A carbon reinforced shell gives the right amount of flex right where you need it and is fully compatible with Fizik’s line of ICS bags and taillight.
The Antares Versus has a functional size of 274mm x 142mm and fits best for "chameleon" riders who are in the middle of the spectrum between the "bull" and "snake." In Fizik speak means a rider with good flexibility who likes being able to move around in the saddle and ride in multiple positions.
The Antares Versus weighs 209g.
