Fizik Arione Versus Kium Rail Saddle
Using their three most popular saddles as the starting point, the most notable change in Fizik's new Versus line of saddles is the addition of a pressure relief channel running down the center of each saddle.
The goal behind the Versus collection was to offer a high performance saddle that's immediately comfortable to the casual enthusiast who has an appreciation for top level equipment. After a considerable amount of research, Fizik decided that the channel design offered more consistent comfort and increased durability when compared to saddles with a full cut out.
In addition to the pressure relief channel, Fizik bumps up the padding just a touch compared to the originals.
Otherwise, the Versus collection is loaded with all the same great features. For the Arione that means its signature carbon reinforced Wing Flex shell is present and accounted for. The lighter-than-Ti-but-just-as-strong K:ium rails offer an astounding 85mm of adjustment that is easy to dial in thanks to the measuring guide etched on the rail. Last but not least, the Airone Versus is compatible with Fizik's range of ICS seatbags and taillight.
The Arione Versus is made for the type of rider Fizik calls a "snake" which refers to someone with great flexibility who likes to often change positions when seated. The Arione Versus measures out at 300mm x 130mm though we'd say its functional length tops out at about 290mm.
The Arione Versus has a weight of 239g.
