Fizik Cyrano Seatpost
The Cyrano is Fizik's debut seatpost and it's so well thought out you'd swear they've been in the seatpost business since Edmond Rostand was at his peak.
The most ingenious feature of the Cyrano is also its simplest. Designed to cradle delicate saddle rails like no other seatpost, the Cyrano's clamp is the most user-friendly we've ever seen. There's a single bolt in the back and a micro adjust knob on the front that is easy on your thumb and allows you to get your saddle exactly where you like it. Eddy Merckx would have killed for this seatpost back in the day.
Even more impressive is the fact that a saddle can be easily installed without having to disassemble the clamp. Standard round rails or even oversized oval carbon rails slide right in. And with regards to the latter, the lower half of the clamp is quite a bit longer than most to give a measure of support not found in any other seatpost.
The Cyrano is made from 3D forged aluminum and is internally fluted to save weight where it's not needed. Taking its extended base plate into consideration, the Cyrano has approximately 20mm of offset and has such a wide range of adjustment that it can be turned forward for use on time trial and triathlon bikes.
The Cyrano has a high gloss finish with subtle, yet striking graphics that will be right at home on any bike.
