Formula RX Disc Brake
The RX Disc Brake is brand new for 2010. Based on the design of Formula's R1 model, the RX gets a few very minor tweaks that bring the cost down while ensuring the stopping power stays high. The caliper is a one piece design which is stiffer than a conventional two piece caliper. Inside each caliper are 22mm pistons which equal a lot of stopping power. The hose is braided to prevent expansion under extreme pressure. One cool feature of the RX is that the brake lever is designed to work on either side of the bar so you can set your bike up moto style no problem. Changing pads is a snap too and can even be done without having to remove a wheel. The RX brakes come pre-bled and ready to go. One important thing to note is that rotors are NOT INCLUDED. You'll need to purchase those separately. Formula brand rotors include adapters.
