Fox Flux Helmet 2013Hit your favorite trail knowing you have top class protection with the Fox Flux Helmet. This helmet has a deeper rear profile of the EPS shell that offers more comprehensive coverage than a traditional XC helmet.
Fits rounder profiled heads well and has plenty of vents. Keeps your head cool whilst offering a little extra protection at the back. straps adjust easily and fit dial can be adjusted easily with one hand whilst riding. The rear 'wing' is an acquired taste and can be removed if you don't need the extra 'downforce' :P
I just started using mine. I like that it came with replacement pads. It does kinda' seem geared towards rounder heads versus oblong shaped heads. Plenty of ventilation. The visor is somewhat further back than most visors, so the sun blockage is a little limited. I really like the protection as this helmet keeps your head tucked way in.
I just got this helmet and have not yet rode with it. However, I have worn it around the house a lot (wife loves that) and it is very comfortable. The chinstrap is very easy to adjust to fit. This is probably the first time I have ever been able to say that about any biking helmet. The fit is low on the head and comes down about 1.5 inches further in the back than my other helmets, which is exactly the reason why I purchased it. The vent holes are large and the helmet is very light. The adjuster in the back is fairly simple, no dial adjust or anything like that, but so far I haven't had to mess with it too much. Just set it and leave it. Overall I'm pleased with this helmet.
I've had this helmet for a little over a year and I love it! It holds up great, awesome ventilation on those hot summer days. Its fit is perfect and doesn't hurt your head at all or leave marks. I highly recommend this helmet!
