I bought these when i first began riding back in 2010. I soon began to need them less and less as my skills improved. So much so, that i began to think i bought them for no reason. I was wrong. I took them up to Snowshoe Mountain in 2011 for some Down Hill action and boy was i happy that i bought them. They survived a few spills and kept me 100% scratch free. Ive been using them at Bryce and Snowshoe ever since. They are comfortable, easy to put on and very sturdy/protective.
Bouncing off trees, shrub, pricker bushes, etc. in the Northeast make these a must. Both comfortable and non-intrusive, these are great for bailouts, protecting from the elements, and leaning up against trees. Only complaint is that the Velcro could be a little longer up the strap for greater tightening capabilities, but then again perhaps I should hit the gym and the problem wouldn't be as bad. Recommended!
This is a very light weight protection, easy to use and the best is you can throw in the washing machine and they will come out as new, no odor and they dry fast.
