Q: Would the SM/MD be suitable for a woman?

A: Good question ! It could be although everyone is different therefore you can go by this measurement for the SM/MD - Top strap opening would be 13-17 in & bottom strap opening would be 11-13 ½ inches. Length: 13 ½ inches. If you fall somewhere in between those measurements, you should be okay ! feel free to give us a call/email and we will be more than glad to assist.

Good buy - Apr 24, 2014

These fit pretty well and don't seem to slip. They might seem a bit bulky, but reassure you of the protection they are providing. These are way better than the old pair of Fox Ventilator's that I had. You can't beat the price that they're going for.

Great, but bulky - Apr 18, 2014

These pads are awesome protective wise! But packing them and sometimes while wearing them they're big and bulky. I also have an issue with one of them slightly slipping down from time-to-time. When i comes time to change out i will be opting for a lighter set of pads.

Pedal Friendly - Apr 02, 2014

These are great knee pads and very pedal friendly as well! I have ridden 2+ hours with them on with a significant amount of pedalling and have had zero issues with discomfort. I really like the face that they provide padding on the sides of the knee because this is where I usually ended up with the most bruises. Only reason I gave them 4/5 stars is because it would be nice if they came with some sort of mesh bag for transport or storage....similar to the helmet bag theTLD A1 comes with.

Bulky but comfy - Jan 23, 2014

I used these for about 5 months so far, solely for downhill and dirt jumping. They fit well and do not slip on me (I see some people struggle with keeping other knee pads in the right position). I am pretty prone to wrecking, and have slammed these down really hard a few times. They 100% saved my knees each time with no injury. The only con to these is that they are a little restrictive if you like to ride up the hills. The washing machine is a little rough on the fabric, but these will surely take 2 seasons of abuse. I am very happy with these.

Excellent - Sep 29, 2013

I've been wearing knee pads for MTB for the last 20 years so I've gone thru quite a few. It's hard to find good fitting comfortable pads that stay put. I really like these. The pads are fabric covered so there's no metal rivets or anything to scuff your top tube. The material doesn't make you sweat inside and the velcro straps work well to keep them in place. Good price too.

Worth every penny - May 10, 2013

These are excellent knee pads. I was previously wearing a rather cheap pair of skateboarding knee pads that would constantly slip. The Fox Launch Pro Knee Pads stay in place all day long, even on a humid day with lots of perspiration. I've also gone down on my knee(s) a few times while wearing these. They have provided great protection each time. I do feel they could have a little bit more padding between the knee and the hard cap, but not much. I would certainly buy these again and I would recommend them to anyone needing some knee protection. Also, you may want to get 1 size larger than you might think.
