Wearing cotton shorts for mountain biking in the desert just wasn't cutting it anymore. I finally upgraded my cycling gear a few years ago and it has helped improve my riding because I don't overheat as easily. I first bought the 2011 version of these shorts and I liked them so much that I bought another pair in 2012. And it comes with a removable chamois. This was my first experience with a chamois so I can't compare the quality with other products but they have held up well for the past three years and I use them every time I ride. After years of use they aren't showing any real signs of wear. The black finish on the snaps has started to wear off, making the fox head logo copper in color but I wouldn't consider it a fault. Highly recommended.
