G-Form Elbow Pads are the first flexible, molded, exoskeleton rate-dependent impact pad worn on the outside of the sleeve. The ridges and hinges of the pad are specifically designed to flex with the elbow and arm to ensure complete protection. Utilizing RPT - Reactive Protection Technology, a composite blend of PORON XRD material and proprietary G-Form materials and technology, offer consistent, repeated impact absorption for dependable performance throughout the life of the product.
The G-Form pad will protect you from repeated impacts - unlike a bicycle helmet, it does not need to be replaced after impact, and does not lose any of it's protective qualities after repeated use.
I got these after crashing and getting stiches in my elbow. Two days after getting the stiches out I banged my elbow on some rocks and had no damage so I'm happy. Also, these fit well using the recomended sizing for me and you hardly notice they are on.
Tonight was first ride after having Bursa removed from left elbow. Surgery unrelated to MTB. During the down time I researched pads as I'm an intermediate rider and ride with an expert and another intermediate rider. We have hit some higher speeds going down hill so researched and pads seem appropriate. I bought the G force knee and Elbow pads. It was super hot here in Cali and we were doing a simpler trail with a lot of switch backs. I threw the elbow pads on the protect the elbow with surgery and not the knee as the heat was mid 90s. I had a low speed slide out on gravel into some brush. Hit the left elbow.... Not a scratch bruise or sign of crash. My knee has a little road rash but would have had none if pads were on. I felt nothing on the elbow. Pads were as advertised. Obviously these are not for intense FR or DH riding. Oooooo also if you sized properly you don't even know they are there and do not slip from riding or sliding. Great product for my riding.
