GEAX Saguaro TNT Mountain 29er Tire

The Saguaro strikes a beautiful balance of versatility and performance. Featuring a pattern that falls nicely between the Mezcal and the Barro Mountain, the Saguaro rolls fast and bites hard. The tread pattern makes for predictable cornering on all surfaces and the connected central knobs make acceleration and speed maintenance nearly effortless. Suited for applications ranging from XC racing to big-hit slopestyle, the Saguaro is the perfect do-it-all tire.

  • Tubeless talon (fits both standard and tubeless rims)
  • More resistant to sidewall cuts and punctures
  • More stable at low inflation pressures for better grip
  • Geax TNT tire allows for up to 100g saving compared to a standard tubeless

I love these tires. They are directional, so they can be mounted for speed or traction. I always mount them for speed and don't have a problem with traction. They are tough and built like tank tracks. Can't go wrong with these.

Like the specs say, it is a good all around tire. I ride from hard pack to loose volcanic rocks to mud to wet roots all in the same day and across the same trails and these are taking it all pretty well. Haven't ridden them long enough to get a good idea of tread wear though. Only reason I gave 4 stars is these tires do not shed mud very well and I have felt them roll under quite a few times on hard turns at lower pressure.

Pros: Great grip and reliability in the turns and the wear on them is very durable for xc. Cons: Sidewall is very weak and in lower pressures the tire tends to roll over. Ran tubeless and after around 100 miles, bead was torn and sidewall was shot for tubeless. Will work for tubed set up however won't buy again. Price Point did a great job in the warranty department with it mind you!
