Giro Remedy Full Face Helmet 2013
The fiberglass-shelled Remedy offers the same level of protection, ventilation and attention to detail as its older brother - the Remedy CF - yet handles it all at a sweet price. It's built for long park sessions, big mountain riding, cleaning sketchy, exposed lines, or anything else in the gravity realm.
This a great price point for this helmet. I have not used too many full face helmets. But for the price you can't beat this one. I found that the sizing was just a tad too big. If you have concerns about sizing I would go with the size just under what you think it should be. For instance I thought the large would fit perfect but it was just a little loose for comfort. My brother now uses this helmet and it fits him perfect. This helmet can kind of hot but I think all full face helmets are. That just comes with it. All in all this is a solid buy. How could you go wrong with added protection?
I have used this helmet for 2 years and it has experienced many crashes. All of these crashes I walked away from because the helmet did its job. I have heard horror stories about the chin bar snapping, however have never experienced it.
Nice helmet, but the craftsmanship could be better. Venting holes were not straight. Looked like the person cutting them out may have been a little shaky. Other then that, I love the helmet.
Takes a lot to motivate me to submit a review, there are fancier helmets out there, but it's the need vs. want thing. I've had one of these for 4 years, have ate $hite many times and it's never let me down. Good ventilation/warmth, I wear this in 30C to -10C with no issues, good fit, good quality, good value and I highly recommend. Way better than bell or 661 i've had in the past. 3 of my friends ride with this and have similar levels of satisfaction - if it's on sale get it.
Good price on a great helmet. Very comfortable fit. Seems to have the right breath-ability for warm as well as cold days. I would highly recommend!
This helmet is on the budget end of helments & I think is great for the money. The Chin Clip is a plastic clip rather than a locking tie, this seems a little weak in terms of the abuse these helmets will recieve. the fit is nice & the helmet wears well with moto goggles. Great helmet
