PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Giro Xen Full Finger Glove

The Xen glove balances a lightweight feel with the durability needed for all-day, all-mountain riding. The Super Fit engineered palm is made of supple Clarino and tailored to minimize excess material, so you get maximum control and comfort.

  • Super Fit Engineering reduces bunching and discomfort while enhancing grip, bar feel and the effectiveness of the padding
  • Technogel for the padding provides superior pressure distribution - up to 300% better than standard gel, for enhanced comfort and protection from numbness over long periods of time
  • When pressed between the glove and handlebar, Technogel molds itself to the hand by deforming along all three axes
  • Excellent impact absorption - up to 30% better than standard gel, for protection from shocks and vibrations
  • Poron XRD is a soft, shock-absorbing material specifically engineered to absorb up to 90% of impact energy, without a loss of performance from repeated impacts
  • Long-lasting performance - it does not harden or break down over time, so the glove stays supple and comfortable mile after mile

I'm a big guy. With that said, I have squatch hands. I've never had any luck with major competitors brands I.e. Fox, answer, azonic etc... I've been through two pair of these in xxl. First pair withstood about 4 months. But the second pair are 10 months going strong paired with hard compound odi Troy lee grips so for the money I'm impressed. These are sized a bit small so keep that in mind if you have long fingers or just cut the tips out.

Not as good as I had hoped - Jun 18, 2014

Maybe I got a dud pair, or maybe 6 months is the life expectancy of biking gloves. Either way, that's what I got. They're both tearing in the same spot... at the base of the thumb where the black material is sewn to the seam in the leather palm. Now I have to get new ones. Maybe I'll try a different brand this time.

these are nice quality gloves, but not as well ventilated as I thought they would be. All the seams are neat, and the padding is well thought out. I would say they run small as far as sizing.

Great gloves. Plenty of grip, even when drenched in sweat. On my second pair.
