Rotors are a crucial component of your braking system, and having worn out or warped rotors has a major impact on stopping power. So if it's time to slap some new rotors on your bike, check out this one from Hayes. Not only is the Lightweight Rotor very... lightweight, it is also an official Hayes replacement part, which means it is compatible with Hayes and most other disc brake calipers.
These things are the best rotors I've ever used for under $50.
Picked these up to replace some very oversized rotors that came OEM on my bike. I ordered the 160mm size and have been very impressed. The rotors ride great in dry, wet, or muddy and make very little noise. I haven't rode them super hard, but I haven't had any fade concerns either. I am running them with Shimano calipers have had no issues with the different brands working together. Great caliper to save a bit of weight and they look nice too.
Bought a pair to comp a bit of the wieght gain for stroker ace braksets and they work awesome. No differences as for braking than a standard rotor so dont shy away buy up. Price Point prices even make it a better deal.
These rotors are really nice for the money. They work well with my Prime Pro and Expert brakes. I will buy them again when the time comes. Great purchase.
So I got these to replace my regular rotors because I needed to get new pads anyways so I went with some lighter ones. They do feel lighter than the originals but you won't notice it when you ride and they dont effect the braking at all so it's all good.
