Already have almost 100 miles on these bad boys with no flats. They are awesome tires for the price.

I put a set of these tires on my bike late last summer, and only put about 250 miles on them. I rode them on a trainer through the winter, but only for another 500 or so miles. Somehow, the front tire had some pretty severe damage on one sidewall. I had to replace it for fear it would blow out. The rear tire looks fantastic...I've replaced the bad tire and haven't had any issues yet.

Give them a shot if weight isn't a concern - Jul 25, 2013

I bought these tires because they were priced cheap. I figured I'd give them a try. 1st impression: They felt a little "mushy" going hard into corners and on descents. I rode them for about 250 miles and put them on the shelf. Today I decided to give them a second chance. I inflated them to 120psi, normally I run 110psi, and the tire was a lot more stable on a fast (41mph) twisting downhill. I decided to only use it on the back wheel because I need flat protection, I've had, no joke, 20+ flats in in the last 10-11 months. These seem to hold up pretty well going thru the rough stuff. So why the 4 instead of 5 stars.... these tires are heavy, heavy, heavy. The description says 205g, not to burst PP bubble but these tires weighed in at 258g and 261g. That is 2oz heavier than advertised. Overall these tires are solid but if you are a weight weinie you'll want something lighter.

Best tire value out there, imo - Jul 15, 2013

I have used these IRC Redstorm tires for 5 years and about 16,000 miles. Other tires that cost 4x as much can't do any better. I get about 2,500 miles out of a rear tire and 5,000 out of the front. So a set of 3 gets me through a MI cycling year. Shop around and do what is best for you.

I bought these tires hoping for a good deal. I had less than 80 miles on them and have a center tread puncture. I really thought they would be a good tire for group rides for a long time. At least they didn't cost too much.

Ultimate low budget road tire - May 24, 2013

I love these tires--they ride and wear as well for me as bigger name tires that cost twice as much or more. Very flat resistant, just a great value. I've ridden Michelins, Vredesteins, Continentals, and Vittorias of various models and I don't notice any significant difference in ride quality.

You will not get a better tire for 3 times the price . I have used IRC Redstorms for the past few years .It is a tough tire that handles great, it wears , better than any tire I have ever ran ,and I have ran all the high dollar tires. Last and certainly not least it is real light at 205 grams. I recommend these tire to everyone I talk too , and the smart ones buy a pair .
