PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Intense Carbine 29 Frame Naked Orange 2014

Designed to allow riders to descend the roughest enduro tracks with confidence, the Carbine 29 raises the bar on performance, technology and beauty.

The slacker 67 degree head angle and 51mm 29-specific fork offset on the Carbine 29 work together to create a bike that delivers added agility and improved handling. Fast, gnarly rock sections never felt so secure and cornering was never as quick on a 29er. The Carbine 29 will allow you to ride hard and ride fast. Go ahead, let go of the brakes and take the roughest line to the bottom.

Cutting-edge technology like internal cable routing, Reverb Stealth seat post routing and ISCG 05 chain guide tabs come standard on both the frame and the complete bike.

Having been raced and tested under wraps for months, the Carbine 29 is no stranger to the podium. Enduro class take notice; the Carbine 29 is coming out of its corner swinging and is ready to deliver a knock out punch to the competition.

Intense Carbine 29er - Large - Apr 20, 2015

Upgraded from a Niner WFO9 to this frame. Brought all my parts over from the Niner and am running this with a 140mm Fox 34 Float fork. Wasn't sure how I would like this with the 140mm fork instead of a 160mm Pike, but I'm happy to say this has made for a perfect trail bike that still feels like a light downhill rig when descending. The frame is so stiff that I constantly feel my wheels flexing. Never felt that on the Niner. The propulsion of this bike is instant due to the stiffness. It is a very fast and efficient pedaling frame. I'm 6' with 32" inseam and relatively long arms and I went with the Large size. I also run 780mm bars with 70mm stem. It is a nice long stable platform that is much more playful than my other Niners. I don't even notice the longer wheel base. It flicks around tight switchbacks without issue. Super happy with this frame and Pricepoint. Just be sure to use carbon assembly paste on all aluminum to carbon interfaces and use locktite!! This is a must if you don't want any creaks (especially on the rear dropouts). Bike is only 28lbs with a Reverb dropper post as well!

Intense carbine 29 - Apr 12, 2015

Happy I got this intense carbine. Was thinking I would get a 27.5" but didn't want to deal with different bikes with different wheel sizes, after riding this bike I am glad I stuck with the 29" wheel. The bike is a very good climber but it's when you point down hill the fun starts and with this bike I find its very confident inspiring. I can keep up with some friends on this bike that I could not keep up to before. Very happy would recommend this frame
