PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Intense Carbine 275 Price Point Pro Build XT Bike

Here at Price Point we are doing everything we can to make sure your dream bike is within reach. Using our knowledge of the industry and volume pricing, we have created a build that saves money everywhere possible without skimping on quality to create this incredible value.

Since its inception, Intense has been synonymous with innovation and ingenuity. The Carbine 275 has been updated with internal cable routing, direct-mount front derailleur, and replaceable G-1 dropouts to make it compatible for 26" wheels.

The 17-inch chainstays help keep the handling quick and responsive without being twitchy, for a fast, confidence inspiring ride down the mountain. Its 13-inch bottom bracket height rides below the wheel axles for a lower center of gravity and improved cornering. Rigorously tested, CNC-machined, and assembled in Southern California under the strictest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

  • Intended for Trail, AM, and Enduro use
  • 27.5 (650B) wheel size
  • Replaceable G-1 dropout system
  • 1.5" tapered head tube
  • BB92 bottom bracket
  • Dropper post cable routing
  • Intense FLK-GRD downtube and chain stay protectors
  • Grease Zirks on lower link for hassle-free maintenance

Looking for a bike that's squishy and fast on the downhills, but light and spirited on the uphills? This is a pretty good choice. I don't think there will ever be one bike that can truly do it all, but my god they are getting close. I've put around 100 miles on the bike so far all on XC trails, and it has felt very comfortable in every situation I've got it in. Like any bike it takes a minute to figure out what works best. For me, I found that keeping my weight forward was crucial to keep handling sharp, in comparison to my previous bike (banshee rune) which was a bit more DH oriented and didn't penalize me so much for hanging off the back.
