The X10.93 is a Silver nickel plated chain with solid plates and pins for use with 10-speed Campagnolo, Shimano and Sram drivetrains.
You can't go wrong with KMC chains. I've never been disappointed by one. Don't bother paying more for something that won't work as well.
great chain no problems after 250 miles shifts great on my shimano 10sp
I was having bad luck with the HG95 (XT) chains on my Shimano XT 10spd drivertain. The rollers would wear out at a significantly faster rate than I expected, so I bought this chain having previously used KMC on my 9spd road bike. I am getting much more life out of these chains than I was with the HG95 chains. I know these have a stronger sideplate design, which helps prevent stretching, but I'm not sure why the rollers specifically on these KMC chains are much better than the Shimano rollers. Regardless of the reason, these work significantly better. Are they heavier? Yes, slightly. Are they stronger? Heck yes! And of course there's a huge bonus with these KMC chains: Missing link! Easy installation, easy removal. I like these cheaper KMC chains not just because they work, but at the price point, I can replace them more often because they're cheaper, which means better longevity on my cassette and chain rings. One thing I do recommend, add your own chain lube from the get-go. The factory oil on these chains is very 'gummy' and can easily attraction dirt. 5/5 stars.
