Love my SDG saddle. Liked the idea of a dropper post but didn't ever go that route due to the I-beam. Saw this and new I had to have it. If you have not used a dropper post think of it like this: There was a time when people said that front suspension was a waste of weight. There was a time when rear suspension was for pansies. Then disk brakes were overkill and 29er were a fad that wouldn't stand the test of time. Think of droppers like that. You don't think it is needed and in reality it isn't but once you use it you will never think twice about having it again! Love this post. Works great, looks nice, does everything it is supposed to do. Interesting the i-beam mount has a better cable connection than the standard rail mount. Stays out of the mud and water and stays clean. Found my post to be just a hair larger diameter than the 30.9 it was supposed to be. made getting it in a bit of a chore. Hope I don't have to remove it. Maybe when I do I will run some sandpaper down the shaft to get a better fit.
