Q: is this tire tubeless ready?

A: The Kenda Nevegal DTC 29x2.2 is not tubeless ready; tubeless ready version of the Nevegal would be the Nevegal SCT which we do carry as well. Feel free to email us at custservi[email protected] and we will be more than glad to help !

Q: Will this tire fit on the front wheel within my Sette Razzo 29" frame? http://www.pricepoint.com/Bikes-Frames/Mountain-Bikes-Frames/Trail-Bikes-Frames/Sette-Razzo-XT-10-Speed-29er-Alloy-Mountain-Bike.axd Thanks!!!

A: Yes, these tires will fit this bike.

most reliable tire I've ridden - Aug 21, 2014

1 2 3 4
4 out of 5 stars
SAN MARCOS, TX

The 2.2 width can make this tire a little sluggish but the Nevegal is the most reliable tire I've ridden. Awesome cornering and big knobs for traversing rock gardens. Excellent front tire, might want to run it a little lower for even better traction. Can be a little cumbersome on long rides, not a XC race tire.

Great Winter tire - Jun 09, 2014

Depending on where you ride this is a great winter tire (muddy, leafy, wet) that can go tubeless!

Excellent Grip, Heavy, Slow - Jun 09, 2014

1 2 3 4
4 out of 5 stars
ELLICOTT CITY, MD

On super-technical terrain like Patapsco State Park here in Maryland, the tire has fantastic grip, especially in soft conditions which are normal here. Grips like bananas, has been super-durable, and setup easily with Stans rims, but it is very heavy, and slow rolling.

GRIP but Weight - Apr 30, 2014

Dearborn, MI

These tires are awesome. They have a ton of grip but the weight is a bit high for these. I dont have wheels that can go tubeless so that is a down fall on my part but the weight is still high. I really noticed the difference when i got them. but i have to say that now i love going over anything. great for lots of conditions but my favorite is anything loose.

Better tube less - high rolling resistance - Apr 23, 2014

1 2 3 4
4 out of 5 stars
Fredericksburg, VA

The Nevegal is the front tire I always come back to. The rolling resistance is too high to run it front and back in my opinion but if you run one up front, tubeless, it will latch onto roots and rocks and get you through the gnarliest trails. However...if you're riding a fast, dry, and dusty trail, it's traction limit is lower than some other smaller knobbed tires.

You will never lose traction - Apr 12, 2014

If you want to stick to every surface go with these. If you are looking to do anything other than downhill with these tires then I would not go with these. They are heavy and have a huge rolling resistance.

Ol' Faithful - Apr 11, 2014

Phoenix, AZ

I've been running the Nevegal for a couple years now, front tire. Living in the desert, nearly all of my riding has been in dry dusty conditions. I've found the Nevegal to be an excellent trail tire, beefy enough to handle rough trails and good cornering grip, with no squirming even at low pressures. It's high volume, and so I've found the best results are with a wider rim (23mm+). For a trail application, it's a great choice.

Great tire. I have found it grips the best in thicker moist dirt. would get this for downhill or heavy trail but would not recomend for xc becuase it is a heavier tire. I would definitly recomend it

I run these tires front and back. They grip in the turns and power over the roots and rocks of the east coast trails. Just converted to tubeless with these tires and it was so easy. They popped right on!!

Awesome Tire - Jan 03, 2014

1 2 3 4 5
5 out of 5 stars
Fredericksburg, VA

I have used this tire everywhere from the dry hard pack and rock gardens of Colorado to the muddy, loose and leaf covered fall trails of Virginia. This tire truly is designed for ALL conditions. I have complete faith in it up front and don't wash out in corners, and it gets great traction in the rear. As with the other review, I have also experienced side knobs coming off over time. Maybe a year or so. But that's time for new rubber anyway. The only other tire I've liked as much as this one would be The Captain by Specialized. Both designed by and named after two great MTB Legends.
