Kenda Slant Six 29er Tire
The Slant Six 29er tire is Kenda's newest addition to their line, and promises to be a winner. Blending treads from two of mountain bike legend John Tomac's winningest tires, the Small Block Eight and the Nevegal, the Slant Six is built for fast aggressive riding. Designed to be an all around tire on hard pack to intermediate terrain; the Slant Six gives you low rolling resistance but keeps things grippy with Nevegal shaped knobs.

This tire came stock on Razzo X9 and I am really happy about it. It is alot like the racing ralph however the wider outer nobs allow you to corner better and this tire climbs alot better. It is easy to mount tubeless and has a long wear life. Will definitely buy more of these.
The tire arrived on time as promised in good condition with its original packaging. The Slant Six provides good grip for both steering and climbing traction. The usable wear life is approximately 400 miles hardpack/loose mix with 15 percent of the mileage being concrete path.
This tire came on my Sette Razzo X7. So far the tire has been okay. All the trails I ride are in Western PA that are comprised of clays, roots, and rocks. Almost all the trails are wet whether it is raining or not. When I have traction these tires roll fast and stick well on drier surfaces. Once you begin riding in the wet clay, everything goes down hill. Its frequent that I find myself spinning out on most of my climbs. I would like them better if they could shed some mud. The mud seems to stay on the tire until I brush them off. I am giving them a four because they should work well in drier hard packed areas, but they sadly came on the bike.
This tire came on my Sette Razzo X7. This tire is horrible for mud. This can be seen from the design, you can visually tell it will work best on hard packed surfaces. Sadly were I ride those rarely exist. I have lost traction or spun out more than I like too. The tire is poor at wicking away the mud. I have to let the mud harden than ride on a hard surface (concrete/ asphalt) to clean it. It is not entirely the tire's fault as it seems it is more for drier conditions. If your riding takes place with any amount of mud do not buy this tire. Hope this helped. I am giving it a four because of the philosophy of use. I am sure that if I used this tire in a drier area it would preform well. It would be a better tire if it wouldn't clump the mud on.
