Small Block Eight is the go to tire for anything. Commuting, CX racing, gravel grinding... You name it, this tire will deliver with nothing but smiles. USD version is a breeze to go tubeless with, tire will last quote longer than others and their faster than most. Hands down the go to tire.

As an all-arounder, street-to-dirt combo, a solid tire that take a beating, and at a good price. That said, I am not a 5-star fan of the small block for a few reasons. (1) not the fastest roller on pavement (compared to a file tread, for example). (2) for racing cyclocross, not a fan. (a) slow on grass. (b) difficult to find that tire pressure sweet spot (on the lower end). (c) not confident in corners.

Have a cyclocross bike used mostly as road bike, especially in lousy weather. Surprisingly smooth and quiet on pavement and also good in mud and grass. Will be looking at other Kenda products!

This is a good all around tire for cyclocross. The small knobs help the tire shed mud and hood up to give you confidence.

Solid tire from a solid brand. If you can get them at the right price, you won't be disappointed. Be sure to make sure your frame can handle a 32 before you buy them. Highly recommended.
