i ride all-mtn and some occasional dh. these are better suited for cross country. the tire performed ok when pumped up tight. held a line pretty well, but never really felt like there was a lot of braking power in the tires. on turns the knobs start to give out without a lot of speed. they felt soft and weak, unable to grip. for climbing they did well, light and efficient. the sidewalls are too thin for hard all mountain or any dh riding. i had 5 flats in one month with telonix. i had 0 flats in 6 months of wtb vigilantes. i tossed the telonix and spent the cash on better tires.

I've been running this tire for a couple of months now and find them to be excellent tires for the dry sometimes loose conditions in my area, great grip for climbing, and down hill cornering, all around good tire, use to run nevegals, I think this tire performs better and at a better value, will definitely buy them again.

I live in Murrieta Ca so I have plenty of trails to ride, I purchased these tires after riding through a field of Goat Head thorns (not the brightest idea lol). These are a lot better than my old tires and like others have said they have excellent grip. In areas where my rear tire would slip it doesn't anymore. They are a little slow but that doesn't matter when you are riding slow anyways. I will be purchasing another set for Xmas, a present to myself. Overall great trail tire!

Just got it. Looks good. Rides good. Soaks up all the bumps. It's not heavy. 4 stars because my only problem with it is because the tire itself does not fit the rim great. Put it on an it's got a little bit of a wobble. But when I ride it. No problem.

I like to ride on aggressive trails and rock gardens, and the Kenda Telonix tires give me confidence to attack those nasty trails. The grip is superb on slippery rocky trails or sandy ruts. Overall a great performance and price!

I have used them a hand full of times already and they are performing great under any conditions. Once you get the pressure right they work great. Also very easy to put on the bike as well.

Kenda, Telonix DTC, folding bead, 26in x 2.20 - Jul 13, 2013

BROOKS M.
EL PASO, TX

Excellent traction and cornering ability, however it has high rolling resistance and does not hold air well when run tubeless, even with Stan's Sealant. After one month of riding in the desert of El Paso, my front tire was cut by a sharp rock and I will have to replace it. Adding Sealant to these tires voids Kenda's warranty so don't expect them to replace if you run tubeless. I'm just glad I got these on clearance so I don't feel too bad spending just $19 on them. I wouldn't buy them again. Go for the Maxxis High-Rollers instead.

I first bought the 2.4 and they performed excellent but where a little heavy for me, so I swapped them for the 2.2 and they performed as well but the difference in weight was notable. So, if you want to grab those corners with confidence these are the tires for you!!

I love climbing and tend to be more tentative through technical terrain. The Kenda Telonix tires hug the dirt and rocky sections like a champ and give me the confidence I need to push myself through technical terrain. My bike now takes tight corners effortlessly and climbs out of soft sections and ruts easily. I highly recommend these tires!

Solid tire at a great price - Jul 13, 2013

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA

These are solid tires with big side knobs for decent corning grip. The 2.40 size run true to size, unlike some other brands, but are also a bit on the heavy side and are not particularly fast rollers. I run the regular non-tubeless version as tubeless on Stans Flow EX rims with zero leaks. I ride pretty aggressive trails and rock gardens and value grip and strong sidewalls over light weight and speedy rollers - these tires fit the bill at a reasonable price!

These tires are amazing they have a ton of grip. Probably gonna buy a extra set for a spare. To the guy that put a poor review on these because he kept pinching tubes, put some air in your tire and you will be gold...

Lots of traction - Jul 02, 2013

FRANK B.

Replaced a very worn out set of Continental Mountain Kings with the 2.2 Telonix tires. The Telonix has a lot of bite in wet and dry conditions and the big side knobs are great for leaning it over in corners. If this tire was meant for racing it would be 3 stars for weight and rolling resistance but for the intended purpose of all day epic rides it gets 5 stars, great tire.

2013/06/23: Installed the 2.4 on the rear and 2.2 on the front of my 2007 Rocky Mountain Element Team. Ride: short, SoCal hard pack, technical single-track with difficult climb and fun decent. Compared to the extremely worn Panaracers (Smoke rear, Dart front, both 2.1) I replaced, the Telonix are very very heavy; especially considering that they do not grip much better than the worn Panaracers. The Kendas were better than the Panaracers through non-climbing rocky sections. If I can help it, I will not ride the Telonix tires again.

these are great tires have excellent traction the only thing is that they are a bit heavy and rolling resistance, but well worth it to take the curves in the single track at high speed, definitely would buy them again

These tires are the best tires i have used. i had schwalbe nobby nics on it from the factory and REALLY notice the difference in traction and control. Tire is a bit heavy and has a lot of rolling resistance. However, tat factor is outweighed tremendously by its performance. I just ordered 2 more for my girlfriends bike. Now she has no more excuses ;)

Great tire with tons of traction. The only downside is that they'll pick up small stones in the deep tread. Loving the traction boost on uphill kicks.
