The large block ramped shaped knobs were positioned to provide the greatest amount of traction and control. This tire climbs and digs in regardless of the terrain. • Iron Cap added to the 26x2.40 folding version for increased casing durability for your DH descents

these are great tires have excellent traction the only thing is that they are a bit heavy and rolling resistance, but well worth it to take the curves in the single track at high speed, definitely would buy them again

These tires are the best tires i have used. i had schwalbe nobby nics on it from the factory and REALLY notice the difference in traction and control. Tire is a bit heavy and has a lot of rolling resistance. However, tat factor is outweighed tremendously by its performance. I just ordered 2 more for my girlfriends bike. Now she has no more excuses ;)

Great tire with tons of traction. The only downside is that they'll pick up small stones in the deep tread. Loving the traction boost on uphill kicks.
